"City of Women" follows the journey of a middle-aged man named Snàporaz, played by Marcello Mastroianni. The story begins when Snàporaz falls asleep on a train and finds himself in a surreal and dreamlike landscape. He wakes up to discover that all the women have left the train, leaving him alone in a compartment.

This surreal film about male and female sexuality follows an Italian train passenger who pursues a beautiful woman. Snaporaz follows the beautiful lady through a forest and ends up at a hotel inhabited by women gathered for a feminist conference. He soon realizes that he is not welcome and must avoid the hostile women. Can Snaporaz escape this strange female reality?
