At Pizza Beppe, we love our classics and, of course, the tiramisu should not be missing. Tiramisu is the most famous dessert in the world and is seen as the modern dessert by excellence.

There are various stories about the origin of tiramisu, but we believe it was invented by a chef in the city of Treviso, near Venice. “Tireme su” comes from the Treviso dialect and literally means “lift me up”.

To make it extra delicious, we've created our homemade tiramisu: made up of layers of espresso dipped in espresso, a creamy blend of mascarpone and a hint of Amaretto topped with cocoa.

Due to its popularity, tiramisu has even earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The record for the longest tiramisu is 273 meters, which is about 84% of the height of the Eiffel Tower!

And of course, an international tiramisu day should not be missed: we're celebrating it on March 21. But don't worry, you don't have to travel all the way to Italy to enjoy this classic dessert. At Pizza Beppe, it's just as good, or maybe even better!
