Pizza Beppe is the first restaurant in the Netherlands that has been accepted by the Napoletana Verace Pizza Association. This means that our pizzas are prepared in the real Neapolitan way.
Delicious authentic food in a casual atmosphere? That's amore!
The Napoletana Verace Pizza Association — in short AVPN — is a non-profit organization that promotes and protects traditional Neapolitan pizza. Founded in Naples in 1984, AVPN has grown into the global authority on real Neapolitan pizza.
To be certified by AVPN, pizzerias must adhere to strict guidelines for preparing and baking Neapolitan pizza. These guidelines include the use of specific ingredients, such as San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte whether buffalo mozzarella, and Caputo Flour. A special oven must also be used, at a specific temperature and for a precisely determined baking time.

AVPN also promotes the cultural heritage of Neapolitan pizza and recognizes its importance as a symbol of Italian cuisine and culture. The organization organizes events and competitions to highlight the best Neapolitan pizza makers and promote the art and craftsmanship of pizza baking.
Thanks to AVPN, one of Italy's most iconic culinary treasures has been preserved and promoted worldwide. And at Pizza Beppe, we're proud to be recognized for making real Neapolitan pizzas.
Only the best is buono enough!
